Are my knives getting blunt?

No, the stainless steel side designed with type 304 stainless steel, which has a hardness of about 15-20 HRC on the Rockwell C scale. By comparison, a standard ceramic kitchen knife has a hardness of 75+ HRC and a professional Japanese knife can reach 60+ HRC. So the stainless steel side is much softer than your knife, so your knives will not suffer direct damage and will stay sharp longer with proper use.

Is the cutting board dishwasher safe?

Yes! Our cutting board is fully dishwasher safe and designed to withstand both high temperatures and intensive washing. This makes cleaning extra easy.

But wood is antibacterial, right?

Yes and no, some types of wood naturally have antibacterial properties, provided you maintain it properly. Bacteria can migrate into the wood fibers and die there over time, but this does not automatically mean that a wooden cutting board will always remain hygienic.

Wood absorbs moisture and juices, allowing bacteria to build up if the board is not dried properly.

Cutting grooves can retain food residue, which is difficult to clean.

You should treat wood regularly with salt, lemon or baking soda to keep it clean and odor-free.

To prevent drying and cracking, treat wood with mineral oil or special cutting board oil.

Wooden cutting boards should NOT be put in the dishwasher, as heat and water cause them to crack and warp.

What is the wheat straw silk made of?

The wheat-straw side is made of food-safe polypropylene and natural wheat straw fibers, a residual product from wheat harvests. This eco-friendly material gives a second life to wheat waste and provides a lightweight, sturdy and durable cutting surface, ideal for everyday use.

How is it different from an ordinary wooden or plastic cutting board?

Plastic boards release microplastics and wooden boards absorb moisture and bacteria. This cutting board combines durability, hygiene and safety and minimizes these drawbacks.

Is the cutting board BPA-free (free of Bisphenol A)?

Yes, our cutting board is BPA (bisphenol A) free! The stainless steel side contains no harmful substances, and the wheatstraw polypropylene (PP) side is specially designed as a durable and safe alternative without BPA. Ideal for a healthy and eco-friendly kitchen!

Can I use both sides of the cutting board?

Yes! You can use both sides of the cutting board, and each has a specific function:

Stainless steel (SS) side: Ideal for raw meat, fish and poultry. Stainless steel is non-porous, making bacteria less likely to accumulate and easy to clean.

Wheat straw PP silk: Perfect for vegetables, fruits and bread. This material is more durable than plastic and makes your knives less likely to become blunt.

Is this cutting board safe for people with gluten intolerance or celiac disease?

The wheat straw side of this cutting board is made from the straw of the wheat plant, so not from the wheat grain itself which contains gluten.


During the production process, this material is processed and compressed under high temperature, which completely breaks down possible organic residues such as gluten.


As a result, the final product is basically free of active gluten.

👉 For people with mild to moderate gluten intolerance, this should not be a problem.
